European Pilot Academy has established the Air Cadet training program to provide training for young teenagers who are interested in pursuing a career in the world of aviation. Within the last years the number of qualified pilots has increased and also the interest to know more about aviation. The Air Cadet gets the opportunity to experience the training required towards becoming a Professional Airline Transport Pilot or just for fun flying as a Private Pilot. Therefore Air Cadets will plan their way by selecting the proper training methods required towards the Aviation Industry.

The Air Cadet Level 2 is a step beyond the Air Cadet Level 1 and a step closer to the Private Pilot License and eventually the Commercial Pilot License. This course is ideal for students who would like to pursue a career in the world of aviation especially as pilots.

The Flight Experience

The highlight of the course is when the AirCadet get to fly one of the European Pilot Academy ‘s certified training aircraft after completion of theoretical subjects. Following a ground briefing, the AirCadet will be seated in the Pilot seat inside the cockpit. After being made familiar with the instruments and controls and wearing the head set (head phones). The pilot together with the AirCadet will follow through the communications with the Air Traffic Controller for a Start Up and taxi clearance and after lining up on the runway, the Air Traffic controller will clear to commence the ‘Takeoff’.

European Pilot Academy introduced the first FNPT II flight simulator in Malta for advanced commercial and instrument pilot training. During the training the AirCadets will experience the state of the art technology flight simulator where they will be able to simulate any flight conditions all over Europe from a beautiful day, night or a tropical storm!

During this flight students can practice landings and take offs with loads of different abnormal conditions.

At the end of the course the student will sit for the ‘AirCadet level 2 Exam’ and upon passing, a certificate of completion will be awarded during an official certificate presentation.

In return they will be able to identify and select their future career such as,

  • Airline Pilots
  • Military Pilots
  • Flight Instructors
  • Air Traffic Controllers
  • Aircraft Engineers
  • Flight Dispatch Officers
  • Flight Operations Managers
  • Met Officers
  • Flight Line Inspectors
  • Others

Their experience will stand them in good stead for future jobs within the Aviation Industry.
