CPL-IR-ME
CPL-IR-MEP
The CPL IR ME (Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-Engine Rating) course is tailored for aspiring pilots aiming to obtain a professional pilot license with advanced qualifications in instrument flying and multi-engine aircraft operations. This program provides the essential skills and certifications required for a career in commercial aviation.
Instrument Rating
The Instrument Rating (IR) permits pilots to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), necessary for navigating through conditions like cloud cover. It is usually pursued along with the CPL. The total of 46.5 hours of Instrument rating training must be completed within three years of the last ATPL exam. The training is split up between 30 hours in the multi-engine simulator and the remaining 16.5 hours in our Diamond DA-42 aircraft.

Multi Engine Rating
The Multi-Engine Piston Rating allows pilots to fly aircraft with twin engine piston which is completed alongside the CPL. The course includes 11 hours of theoretical training, focusing on the transition from single-engine to twin-engine aircraft, and 6 hours of flight training in the Diamond DA42. This flight training covers normal airwork and handling simulated in-flight emergencies, ensuring pilots are well-prepared for multi-engine operations.
Comercial Pilot License
The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is essential for students who want to peruse a pilot career for their flying time and is typically the final step before becoming an Airline pilot. The CPL(A) is often pursued alongside a Multi-Engine Rating (ME) and an Instrument Rating (IR). Flight training for the CPL includes a minimum of 15 hours of flight training split with 10 hours in a glass cockpit single engine aircraft and 5 hours in the Diamond DA42. To obtain the CPL, the pilot must have at least 200 total flight hours.
