PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE

The Private Pilot’s License is the first step to get yourself into the skies, whether you just wish to fly as a hobby or to begin a career.  Like all our other courses, we offer the PPL (A) on a modular training system.  It consists of ground theory as well as flight training.

The ground theory can be conducted on a full-time basis, part-time basis, or self-study basis.  It includes 9 subjects and, therefore, 9 examinations.  Once the 9 examinations are finished, the student will also have to sit for a Radio Telephony exam, and an English Language Proficiency Exam.  Once all of this is finished, the student will start his/her flight training.

The flight training consists of a minimum of 45 hours of flight training.  Of these, a minimum of 25 hours will have to be conducted with an instructor and a minimum of 10 hours will have to be conducted solo.

I have been studying with European Pilot Academy for over 8 years now and throughout the years I have always found the help I needed and even more.

From all the courses I’ve done with EPA, including the basic cadet course, advanced cadet course, PPL and now my ATPL I have always enjoyed it and it has always been a wonderful experience. This school has taught me so much about the beautiful world of aviation.

Whenever I have any queries the friendly team at EPA is always there to help me with a smile.

Thank you!

I had very limited time to finish my PPL license but Matthew, Remus, Ryan and the rest of the team made it happen! Thanks for the support and being available to achieve my aim! Happy flying

The staff in the academy will do their best to make your dream true. I meet them, they’re so kind, helpful and professional. Before I was scared of heights and planes. When I meet them and went for my first trial flight, I enjoy it, even love it. Now aviation and planes are my passion. Thank you.
