Experience:
23 years in the Aviation Industry

Studied in Surrey UK and graduated in Hamamatsu Japan as a marine engine specialist between 1980 and 1990. In 1991, began his new career in aviation in Australia where he studied Passenger Aviation Medicine with the Royal Australian Air force, Dangerous Goods with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority – Australia and pilot training. Ray continued his studies towards professional pilot training in the UK and USA and served in the Armed Forces of Malta as a Search and Rescue Military Pilot.

With over twenty three years of aviation experience in the professional pilot training industry, aviation management, general aviation engineering both local and overseas, Ray is a seasoned aviation operational and academic consultant providing the highest standards of commercial services to both local and international customers whilst ensuring the continual growth and diversification. He is also appointed as an Aircraft Accident Investigator with the Law Courts of Malta.

Sarah Zarb is the CEO of the group. She set up Falcom 27 years ago, a business focused on telecommunications & security services to the hotel industry. In 2008 she joined Capt Ray Zarb and became a director and CEO of the Falcon Alliance group. She is also the managing director of Homi-ihost, a company offering outsourcing services to hotels. She is married with 3 children and her hobbies include reading and travelling.

Matthew Rota has joined European Pilot Academy in 2012 and is responsible for business development of the group.

He is a pilot and is also currently finishing off the aircraft B1 maintenance license. In his free time Matthew is an athlete and besides running, enjoys flying, and travelling.

Emanuel Cardona

In 2006, Emanuel graduated from University of Malta obtaining an honours degree in Banking & Finance. He worked with the Government Sector on administrative and finance aspects as a finance officer from which he proceeded to join European Pilot Academy in 2006. His job duties refer to the management of administrative office duties & leading the finance department.

Trevor started his PPL and finished his CPL in a very short amount of time, he joined the group in a year ago as a Ground Instructor teaching PPL Theory, ATPL Theory and Radiotelephony Practical sessions. He is now also the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor and a full time flight instructor.
